More than 5,000 watts of power will be showcased by Pioneer in Medellin

August 3, 2016

The most advanced technology in automobile sound and entertainment systems will be showcased at the Aeroparque Juan Pablo II in Medellin on August 5th, 6th and 7th at the Sound-On-Wheels event that will take place at the Feria de las Flores. In this edition, Pioneer will be showing its Champion Series Pro speakers, amplifiers, and premium video/audio systems that will surely bowl over car, tuning and technology enthusiasts.

At the Japanese giant stand, there will be a show car with PRO series speakers, including four TS-W1500PRO subwoofers, twelve TS-M800PRO and TS-M650PRO mid-basses, ten TS-B400PRO bullet tweeters and TS-DR250PRO drivers with their horns, as well as four and one-channel GM-D amplifiers. All these systems, controlled from a Pioneer 7-inch display, generate more than 5,000 watts of power with unsurpassed sound quality.

“Pioneer is a synonym for partying, friends, quality, and tradition. All our products praise those qualities. We will be in Medellin again —like in the last 20 years— showing all new products and technological advances in the car audio segment,” said Jose Jaramillo, Marketing Manager at Pioneer International Latin America.

At this three-day event, the 22nd edition of Sound-On-Wheels in Medellin, visitors will enjoy the best of the automobile sound system industry, car audio competitions (a show where the best Colombian tuned cars participate), extreme motorcycling, a BMX festival, and skateboarding, among other things.

During the preliminary rounds of Sound-On-Wheels, two festivals will be held: the Car Audio Rock Festival, with more than 10 bands, and the Electronic Fest, an urban music and salsa festival, with the outstanding participation of renowned artists and DJs, such as Allure and Francis Dávila, among others.
